Sheikh Qassem: Why UNSC doesn't interfere to push Israel implements its
resolutions?!

Tuesday, May 23, 2006 - 03:36 PM [Kods Time]

Hezbollah deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem renewed the party's
commitment to the conclusions of the Lebanese National Dialogue conference,
even if other groups abandoned them.

Enough lectures about patriotism which some are making and then invites
foreign offers through the continuous visits they make to major countries,
as if these countries are trustworthy, knowing that they are the ones which
are clearly causing damage to Lebanon.

Qassem declared "If the UN Security Council is concerned about Lebanon, then
why doesn't interfere to push Israel to implement UN resolutions. And why
doesn't assign an overseer on Israel like the one it appointed on Lebanon to
issue unjust decisions that are not in harmony with Lebanon's right."

MP Michel Aoun's Reform and Change parliamentary bloc criticized Prime
Minister Fouad Saniora for going to Egypt's Sharm el-Sheikh resort in a
separate delegation than the official one headed by President Emile Lahoud,
to attend the World Economic Forum. In its weekly meeting, the bloc said
that the government's handling of UN resolution 1680, puts an end to what is
known as the governmental solidarity and represents another reason for this
government to resign.
