This commie nation is on LIFE SUPPORT. They hoped that by forcing
this cave-dwelling era leader out, the new one can SAVE the life of
this nation from dying of communism. I am afraid it is TOO LATE to
save this commie system. Younger generation sees that COMMUNISM is
bad for its nation. Obama needs to tell the Lao Prime misister to
break down the communist wall like Reagan tell Gobie in East Germany!

New Lao Prime Minister
(KPL) The 10 th Ordinary Session of the sixth National Assembly closed
yesterday with the appointment of the new President of National
Assembly to replace Mr Thongsing Thammavong who will be the new Prime
Minister, replacing Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh.
The appointment of the Prime Minister of the Lao PDR is aimed at
improving the cabinet in implementation of the state s roles and
duties, which are based on the Constitution and laws, and also ensures
the political stability and basic social security, said Mr Thongsing,
new Prime Minister.
The session has also promoted Mme Pany Yathortou, Vice-President of
the National Assembly to become new President of the National
Assembly, replacing Mr Thongsing.
New Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong has pledged to contribute to
the materialisation of the seventh five-year plan for socio-economic
development.
He also pledged to further pursue the Party s renovation policy to tap
the potentials of different economic sectors and people of all social
strata into the materialisation of the five-year socio-economic
development plan and the 2010-2011 budget plan. He also vowed to
further improve the government s working method to make it swift,
harmonious, and unified, and to strictly tackle negative phenomena
among civil servants.
His vow also covered the continued implementation of the constant
foreign policy of the Party and state to make the Lao PDR a reliable
co-operation partner of friendly countries and international
organisations.
The 10 th Ordinary Session of the sixth National Assembly approved the
report on the implementation of the previous five-year socio-economic
development plan, two amended draft laws on National Assembly, the
general election to the National Assembly, an amended draft law on
addressing economic disputes and a new draft law on metrology.
Noteworthy was the endorsement of a plan for the construction of a
high speed railway line from China to Laos.
A draft plan on the seventh five-year socio-economic development plan
(2011-2015), a master plan on land administr ation and use and
national land policy have also been approved during this session.
