Re: A THAI PERSPECITIVE ON KING ANOUVONG'S STATUE CELEBRATION

Ktpl,

You' re right, it's none of my business to ask that question and yours
too to ask that same question to Joe in Thailand.
You keep talking big about communist victory and and prosperity but in
fact Lpdr still keeps on begging for donations.

Militarily I guess that you never engage in any fight b/c you were too
young then. I had fought your parent's Pathet Lao force before and
kicked their asses many time...Without the Viet's help, your communist
force would never be able to take over Laos. You got the commu North
Vietnam Army nearby and got unending helps from China and the Soviet
Union during the cold war whereas the USA is thousand miles away.
When the US stopped assistance all other things collapsed and no
surprise at all even a third grader could figure this out.

You talked about representing all Lao people, what makes you to think
that the Lao people still want your commu regime and the Lprp to rule
Laos? Proof it if you and your regime dare! Ruling the country by
force and intimidation is not true representative of the Lao people.
Besides, your regime is too paranoid of Laonorks to overthrow your
Marxist/Leninist system that is why your commu regime is keeping all
rank and files in check by keeping indoctrination with Marxist/
Leninist ideology all the time and allowed corruptions in all levels
of bureaucracy as virtual bribery.

By the way, I don't think you were the American soldier in So. Korea
as our fellow SCLer, cwjmem, has said. I thought you were a Lpdr
military attache located in So Korea instead or a MS/MA student
majored in English as you mentioned.

I don't blame you though for supporting your commu regime
wholeheartedly b/c you and your next of kins gain from the system.

KTPL,

What the heck is KTPL doing in So. Korea?  Are you trying to indoctrinate South Koreans with your Marxist/Leninist ideology.  Good luck!

How could you and your Lprp claim to represent all Lao people when they couldn't even express themselves freely?

Besides, after more than 35 years of your beloved commu regime's rule, Laos is still poor.  Nothing major Lpdr could do without donations from others.  Just look as the streets in the Capital city, Vientiane, for instance, too many of them are still unpaved.  Without donated fund, the country would be worse!
