Neo-Liberalism Globalization crumbling

As we could see what is happening in the world through the financial
crisis; it is a market correction that self manifest against the
excess of market liberalism. The neo-concept of economy of scale, has
its limitation, sure the bigger the easier it is to cream off the top,
but the bigger it became; base on weak structure, by shifting
responsibilities and avoid regulations to offshore where ever it is
the weakest; it DID collapse much harder, as we presently are seeing.
GREED is not good for long term and unsustainable; high bonuses pushed
up prices and pushed people out of their home and out of jobs,
diminished capacity to sustain the economy.

To revert the wrongs, capping those big cats salary is a positive sign
to build public trust and confidence. We are still waiting for some
'public hangings' and stronger regulations. Protectionism is a
national rights, jobs for its citizens is a priority for any country;
act local think global! Responsible globalization not tax and
regulatory avoidance scheme and exploitation of the poorest.

So what are the symptoms in Laos? Deregulated banking laws is being
exploited by offshore financial institutions setting up shops in Laos;
hence shifting liabilities to Mars, while encouraging the signature
industry. Easier access to non productive finance encourage
consumptions and speculations that is drive up costs and widening
social divides. With no real industry in Laos and limited household
capacity to service the easy money; welcome sub-prime-LA! House prices
is already falling 10-20% with more on the way with many Chinese,
Korean, Japanese etc. funds drying up and companies repatriating funds
to stay afloat.

Jobs! jobs! should be the focus! while Laos still have dig up and ship
out royalties (hmmm... falling commodities prices :( ).
