Question on US Conditonal resident going back to Laos???

I bring this topic once again because I'm still on clear.

I'm asking this question for my cousine who is here in the US for two
and a half years and her green card is valid until November 2008. Her
Lao passport just have been extended, and she already found a plane
ticket. She is scheduled to depart from the US on February 1st because
her father is very illed. One anxiety question remain, will she be
able to travel back to the US in March? I just want to make sure that
the information at the website where Pizone linked is for Permanent
resident as well as Conditonal resident. Condional resident has a
green card too, but it will need to be renewed by the end of the
second year. After reading it several times, I'm still gonna ask you
folks from my understanding that whether Permanent resident or
Conditional resident can travel to Laos as long as he/she has a valid
Lao passport and green card for 6 months. Am I understood here? Can
anyone help me confirm this? It's so hard to find help on this topic
calling to National Call Center for United State Custom and
Immigrartion Service (USCIS). The only answer I got was, "find some
help in your community". I'm kinda helpless that's why I'm asking
people from SCL. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
This is a very serious question...
