Pizone,
You're a wonderful propagandist. How about properly presenting the information rather than misrepresenting it as something other than what is truthful.
Sure Pan Aus. has predicted a 33% increase in production, BY MID 2010! That is a 33% increase over 3 years. Wow, a 11% increase in production per year, phenomenal growth.
Where did your $444 million come from? Pan Aus. total revenue for all of SE Asia (that includes the Thai operation as well) was only $12.6 million last year (2006). So far this year to July 1st, the whole SE Asian operation (again that includes the Thai operation also) did 12.2million in revenue. So where does this phenomenal $444 million come from Pizone? Are you lying or deliberately distorting the facts because the real facts don't sound so profound?
Don't believe me, the documents are all readily available on their website at:
http://www.panaustralian.com.au/
Your second favorite complaint, did you realise that Pan Australia and Oxiana are both responsible to Australian evironmental law regardless of where they operate in the world? From Pan. Aus. annual report:
"Under the Corporations Act 2001, the Company is required to report on its performance in relation to Australian environmental laws."
So Pizone, get your facts straight! Stop the lies, self-serving propaganda and misinformation.

sabaidi all,
if you listen carefully to that rfi program you notice that the Pan Oz
will incease the production by 33% (that's 33% of the $444 million/
year) and the worst part is that the lao gov. has to borrow money from
the ADB (Asian Development Bank) to build the road for the Pan
Australian Co. to take our lao gold, silver and copper out of the
country. what kind of a deal?
with the value of our national resources of $444 million per year, why
the lao gov. has to borrow money from ADB to build the road (from the
mining zone to town) for the Oz to transport gold, silver and copper
out? any laonai like thanouxay or dkj can explain this?
laonai and all lao people should have the right to know what the gov.
do with our national resources.
