thanoxay,
I think you are not addressing the real questions that have been
raised in here many times. You just complain about the lousy job that
the LPDR is doing to address these issues. The questions continue to
be conducts of the LPDR towards people who are Hmong and maybe others
as well. Maybe it's not just Hmong but all citizens of Laos who do
not follow in line with the LPDR policies. But the Hmong in the US
will not stand by and let you continue your oppressive rule on the
people in Laos.
The people in the jungle are almost all Hmong even today LPDR denies
that there are any. Many Hmong who make it to the US talk about the
LPDR's system of killing those that disagrees with the LPDR's
policies, many of them are Hmong, maybe some are low land Laotians.
There are many stories of Hmong being targets of the LPDR military
soon after the arrest of VP. Then there is the story of the 26 Hmong
girls. First Laos says they don't know where the girls are, then just
like magic they appear a year later. The LPDR says that the girls are
"happy" to be home. Several months later many made it back to the
camp, they tell stories of torture and sexual assault.
These are serious charges. The LPDR cannot deny that they don't exist
anymore because the press have taken an interest and the Hmong
community in the US will continue to bring those issues up until it
gets addressed.
The reason why people ask that a third party is involved in that
NOBODY believes the LPDR anymore, they have lied so many times.
Dear Thanouxay or Thaanh Yong.
With respect the Hmong issue that you try to proof to us here in SCL
that LPDR policy is fair
to them. But Lao PDR government still not forget what the Hmong had
been involved during the war, nor remember what Lao PDR government
tried to do when the current government came to power. A lot of
fighting, killing and escaping to Thailand, granted that now Lao PDR
try to make up for the past and look forward to build a better place
for all Lao people and specially the Hmong, due to VP has been raised
the Hmong issue for decade. So, Lao PDR has to do something to show
the world that we are fair to all Lao citizen, but I believe that Lao
PDR government put all these Hmong in the highest place for what. I
see some of these people don't deserve to be where they suppose to be,
just for the political reason only, not for running the country like
it supposes to be in the free society. Good example Lao PDR put
Chaleun Yapaoheu, Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee
and Minister of Justice, for what. He has no idea about the juridical
system working at all. he allows a lot of law suite gone crazy. I knew
one case of a law suit that when from the appeal court, but never
processing thru and went to the highest court directly due to the
verdict in teh low court was their favor of the highest Hmong judge
due to one of Mr. Hmong sat at the highest court hearing on this case.
And " voila " the corruption had occured, but no one said sh-t about
it, because the Lao people think that the Hmong does not know how to
accept the bribe and the corruption. So, the next congress session,
please eliminate the low court system. Just do the Hmong way only one
court, which the highest court. Even better, jsut set up a rabbit
court, on top of Phou Bia. Not at the new building just finished up.
That will save a lot of money for LPDR, this is a Hmong way about the
justice.
