Lao Immigration Police handed-over three South Koreans to their Embassy

Dear Friends,

Lao Immigration Police yesterday handed-over three under-aged South
Koreans allien who entered Lao territory illegally to the Embassy of
the Republic of Korea to Lao PDR in Vientiane.

The three are:

Miss. Chui Xiang Mei, 17 years old;
Miss. Chui Xiang, 14 years olds; and
Mr. Chui He, 12 years old.

The three alliens was arrested and detented for interrogation and
investigation did not possed any legal travelling documents and were
dumped near Lao-Thai border by human traffikers. After the completion
of investigation, despite being accused of illegally entering Lao
territory without any legal travelling document, those alliens were
not put on trial and prosecuted due to the fact that all three are
under aged. Lao Authorities contacted the Embassy of the R. of Korea
to take care of them and rapatriate them back to their home.

Investigation show that those under-aged illegal migrants were victims
of trafficking gang which will be further investigated by Lao Police
Authorities.
