There's absolutely a ridiculous misconception for a lot of people even
now to think that establishing relationship with Washington is about
to get a lot of dollar bills flowing freely back to Lao's treasury and
national coffer like some dream pipe during those wartime package 30
years ago. If it's so, the NTR and other American bilateral new
treaties ever since would make Laos so benefit of the American aids
and donations in volume and visibly building hospitals, university,
schools and roads,,,It's only when you travel back to Laos and look
around with your own eyes that US indeed has been the least among the
rich countries to help, American assistance is even lower than Belgium
in many aspects of humanitarian aids in which shamelessly it shouldn't
be that way especially in those heavy bombed permanent destroyed
regions.
Democrat or Republican in this regard is absolutely not essential,
they both act in the American common interest other than Lao interest.
Democrat tends to be worsen off because of unpromising shrewd practice
of their labor, environmental, and human right stand to the letter of
their interpretation to please their own constituents at home and that
can encroach with potentially many conflict points more than
republican who tends to lax, but impatient to take over other people's
political machine right away.
The only thing works wonderfully is to practice legal corruption
called "Lobby" to access to democrat and republican lawmakers like any
other countries do, to make Lao's interest known especially through
many private investments in exploitation of natural resources like
actually what is done by China, Japan, and Australia etc...but lobby
takes a lot of money to pay those fat lawyers with a permanent booth
before any substantial result could be seen or not seen after years.
Who will be the leading the pack with uninterrupted supply of money
and consultation unanimously from RDP Laos, any Laonok or Laonay or
combination of two??? actually already succeeded to break the barrier
of this American trading institution called "Lobby" yet???
