Re: A U.S. military 'at its breaking point' considers foreign recruits

To point out that every politicians to send their sons and daughters to
a military is STUPID.
It make your point STUPID. You don't SEND. They are adult they can
decide whether to join the military or not.

Nobody force anyone to go to the recruiting office. My brother-in-law
just join the Navy last month and my friend just join the army. No one
force them. I ask them if they worry about the war and death in Iraq
they didn't care. I asked them what if they get sent to Iraq...they
want to go to Iraq.

I don't want a draft like the idiot Rangle who suggested and trying to
pass his stupid bill. He is so retarded he didn't even vote for his own
bill.

I didn't know this but do you know there is a waiting list in the Navy
for sailors who want to actually go in Iraq.

All of you who hated the war, you can't go on living because of the
war, the war effecting your daily drive to work, you are bankrupt
because of the war, or unemployed, go find out who is your congressman
and see if they voted for US to go to war. Show them why you disagree
with the war by not voting for them in next election.

If the war is so bad why are people still joining military. You can
google and see the military met or exceed most their recruitment goal.

i am not sure the idea of having mercenaries doing the work for us is a
real good one. in time of war like this one, the burden should be
shared equally regardless whether you are rich or poor, black, white,
yellow or brown.

basically what i want to see is every family who has kids coming of
age, should share that burden by having at least one kid doing the
fighting with others. for one thing that will prove that you really
patriotic and very much loves your country.

take the case of president bush: he has two daughters who are of the
age of being soldiers. at least one of them should share the burden of
defending this country since it was their dad who was gungho about
doing war in iraq, pushed hard for it to happen, and it did happen and
fighting and killing still continue as we speak.

and of course all the congressmen/women must also share that burden by
sending their sons and daughters to the fighting too.

boy... if we can enact a law forcing everybody to share the burden of
doing war mongering, people especially them congressmen will think
twice before they embark on another fucked-up war.
