Re: Who struggles for civilization?

World war I & II gave human a good lesson, they thought creating UN would
save human lives. It looks like history will repeat itself.

Definitely a thought-provoking post.

The flip side, of course, is what would the world have gained had
England, America, France, etc. tried to "understand the reasons" of
Nazism and Japanese imperialism instead of giving their all to destroy
it? The answer painfully obvious. Appeasement and understanding would
not have worked against Nazi Germany or against imperialist Japan. They
were cancers, and as cancers they needed to be destroyed. Only the most
obtuse among us would deny this.

The cancer of militant Islamism is no different. Islamists are sworn to
destroy what they see as the "infidel" way of life and those nations
that harbor it, just as Nazi Germany was sworn to destroy the Jews, the
Slavic peoples, and those they considered "inferior" to the Aryan race.
There is no reasoning with that type of person--destruction of that
particular mindset and those who harbor and further it is the only
answer.
