Re: More Americans Now Call Themselves Democrats

"Independent" is much more superficially labeled than "Democrat".

I've registered a "Democrat" since become a citizens years ago,
but I've always been "independent"; and I don't say it just to
be "nice" or "smart-sounding".

I voted Bush (I) over Clinton; I voted Nader over Kerry and Bush
(II); etc.

Being a slightly larger political doesn't mean much; it is
fanaticism (extreme loyalty) that counts more.

Democrats and "Independents", ON AVERAGE, are not as fanatic
as Republicans/Conservatives. There are a whole LOT MORE
Liberals in the Democrats and in the "Independent" groups;
and, yes, there are Liberal Republicans, too. These are
usually the "fiscal conservative:" meaning they do not want
us to owe the world some 9 TRILLION and they want, usually,
a "cut across the board;" they are ALSO NOT Hawkish, thinking
the Missile is the ultimate problem solver. (I can live with
MOST, not all but most, of Pat Buchanan's ideas, for example.
I am an immigrant, so my sentiments always lie with the
millions of immigrants, legal or otherwise.

Democrats and Independents will always be LESS successful
poltiically because they have no "core issues." God, Country,
and Law and Order. Etc. Ad Nauseam.

Democrats, Independents, and Liberals are also those make up
the ABSOLUTE majority of the tree-huggers, feminazi's,
homosexuals & homosexual sympathizers, lesbians, nonChristian
groups. And THESE GROUPS have no solid "core issues" around
which they are willing to lay down their other differences to
rally around.

Conservatives and Republicans DO have a few core issues for
which they are willing to unit and rally around:

Again, God, Country, and Law and Order.

It is UP TO a man, a politician & his handlers (propagandists),
to DEFINE what "God, Country, and Law and Order" are really
about. But usually it is phrases like "God," "Jesus Christ,"
"Liberals have ruined everything in the last 50 years," "We
need to take our country back [from these criminals, illegal
aliens, etc.]",,,,

GOP and Conservatives are folks who say idiotic things like:
"The government has no business in religions" but also
believe the Government, the American governance principles,
was FOUNDED ON CHRISTIAN VALUES and THUS it needs to to
SUPPORT them (beaten down Christians?) install CROSSES,
nativity scenes of Jesus, his VIRGIN MOTHER (I don't know
how that's possible, so it must be Jesus's Dad/himself, who
made it possible!), etc., etc. in PUBLIC BUILDINGS, in COURT
houses.

GOP and Conservatives are also HISTORICALLY idiots; they
believe, EITHER, (1) that Liberals have written all HISTORY
books, from WAY BACK, (and have written FALSE historical
books), OR (2) that Washington, Madison, Jefferson, Franklin,
Tom Paine, Adams, et al. HAD put together a GOVERNMENT
BASED ON CHRISTIAN and we just NOT practicing our gov't as
it was intended by these founding fathers,

AND THUS THE PHRASE:

"We need to take our country back [not just back from a
marauding endless lists of millions of non-English speaking
illegal aliens; but also "back" from Liberals/Homosexuals
who have taken our country AWAY from God's plans as
intended/founded/articulated by the founding fathers]."

NEITHER "theory" is true. Historians put mostly neutral,
boring "facts" and events together, favoring no political
groups, which CHANGE with respect to time anyway!

And the "founding fathers" did NOT want an American gov't
based on CHRISTIAN values; if they did, fierce American
PATRIOTS like Patrick Henry ("Give me Liberty or give me
death," remember he's supposed to have screamed???) would
have had THEIR WISHES and THE ANGLICAN CHURCH, which was
the dominant church denomination at the time, WOULD HAVE
BECOME THE "guiding" ruling doctrinal church in America
politics.

'Tis why I know people like LIAM wear pink goggles. They
have very little grasp of history, the constitution, or
other broad issues. Selective memory loss heps to exacerbate
their stupidty leaps and bounds. 'Tis why idiotic phrases
like "We need to take our country back" is their rally cry.

And you have throngs of poorly educated Christian southerners
crying loudly, dragging some mighty crosss in mock comedy,
in every small town street, convincing every neighbor to past
church lists around when it comes to POLITICS AND POLITICIANS!
