Why not re-settle Turkish Kurds in Kirkuk?

Heyy, what a nobble idea! But remember turks claim that Kerkuk is belong to
turkish people as far as turkey concerns regarding Kerkuk as a part of
Kurdistan simply means decleration of war against the Turks.

You should follow the events in the ME little more closely my friend...

i know it might be little hard for you but please try to understand turkish
mentality and what the turks really want in the region. Why do you think
Turks are strongly against anything Kurdish (language, land, culture,
people, names, TVs, media etc)!

I do follow off and on. My whole interest come in because they are
the only people in the region trying to enter the modern world and be
a positive force in the area. I want to encourage what I think is
good in such a troubled part of the world.- Hide quoted text -

I admire and appreciate your tought about Kurdistan but please
remember that you could not succeed or achive anything if you are
constantly under a threat from the neighbouring countries.

Turkey is the biggest immediate danger to not just Kurdistan but whole
ME because the system or dictatorship regime in Turkey have been going
on for 80 years and citizens of this country are not even aware of
their racism, nationalism, fascism and of course fanatical islamism.
Iran, Syria, Jordan, Iraq will change without much resistance because
most people in those countries does not share the same mentality as
their system or the regime.

If you really wish to understand Kurdish people, Kurdistan and ME as a
whole then please try to learn a little bit more about Turkey and
their practices against the Kurds and other minorities.!

I am glad you take the time to educate me. I did learn recently that
the US did take into account of Kurdish interests in the Invasion of
Iraq. The reason why we didn't go though Turkey and in the end cost
more American lives was the Turkish demand to further oppress the
Kurds. It is some thing that is known inside the government and it is
a tricky problem for policy makers but one side is bigger and as more
effect on American interest so we have the policy we do. That is not
my opinion but coming the "official line" on the problem.

I see the the Kurds have been successful when given the chance and
would be a positive force in the region. I see too much in common
with the situation of Tibet and China. I think the hate for the
president and opposition to the war in Iraq as an impediment to your
cause. The Kurds in Iraq are a huge success. To support Kurds in
other parts of the world would have to acknowledge a success of the
war. In my opinion from living in the US many here see hatred for
Bush is compete and it doesn't matter how many people die in
furthering of that wrath.

I have a favorable opinion of the Kurdish people and do what I can to
learn about the region but still very careful to get involved with
civil conflicts. The PKK was put on a terrorist list. They have
perused legal action to get off that list and I see how that could be
a soar spot because it has more to do with regional politics than
actual terrorist threat. I see terrorism as a problem that needs to
be dealt with and I think the Kurdistan would a positive force against
terrorism. There are Kurds who are terrorists part of Al Quida and
other extremist groups but they are singular individuals and in no way
represent the community at large.

Still are there peaceful ways such as schools and asylum that could be
done in parts of Iraq.
