Personally, I'm a caucasian female who just got out of a relationship
with a Korean male.
The reason we broke was up was due to age differences, and the fact
that he worked all the time. It really didn't have anythign to do with
him being Korean - although I'm sure our cultural differences would
have impacted us (either positively or negatively) later on in life.
I'm in college .. and many of the caucasian guys that I meet aren't
very interesting. They only care about drinking and sleeping with you
... and I can honestly say that my Korean ex-boyfriend was the only boy
I've ever dated that cared about my feelings and how I felt.
He might have been more "blunt" than most of the other boys I've gone
out with .. but that was just a part of his personality.
It seems like with these days, it's more frequent to see a caucasian
male dating with an asian female - but not necessarily the other way
around. At least that happens to be true in my experiences and the area
in which I live.
I don't mean to generalize. I'm sure there are some very nice caucasian
boys that go to my school, but they're either taken or gay. Heh.
