Just out of curiosity: has there ever been a Jewish sect that
recognized Jesus as a prophet, like the Muslims do? Probably the idea
sounds as heretical to an average Jew as the Mormons sound to a

For those with reading difficulties: I _don't_ mean recognizing him as
the Messiah.

It is possible, but AFAIK there is no evidence of
this.  After the return from the Babylonian Exile,
those in charge ruled that prophets were no longer
needed, and none were recognized after Malachi.

This ruling did not preclude their being needed
at some future time, but no sect to my knowledge
has accepted their existence.

I was just having a talk with Jesus Christ the other day and he said,
"I am many things to many people." I'm trying to get Jesus to talk to
Hashem and ask Hashem why I'm having such great joyous dreams and they
all involve Hashem's people the Jews. I asked Jesus Christ, I said,
Jesus Christ, Melech David would like to get started rebuilding the
Temple but he's not coming out of retirement until the Moshiach
comes. What I was thinking since you are the King of the Christians
could you possibly convince the militray of the USA to come to Israel
and destroy the Dome of the Rock. Jesus is thinking about it but
we're all concerned about the Moshiach Noam Yinon. Is he OK? We
realize Hashem is the one true Moshiach but we need a Moshiach in a
body.
