The President's advisor whispered in the President's ear that 20,000
active duty troops sent to iraq would be good. This article says
twenty-five thousand active duty troops a year would be great for
several years. They never served in a war zone, but they desire that
your son and daughter serve their country in a war zone. There is
nothiing wrong with defense. In fact I'm all for defense, but these
people making these threatening gestures don't want our military to
defend the U.S. and its borders. they just want them overseas making
everyone safe!

It is easy to get retired military to say we need a strong defense,
but the men promoting the military don't care for a strong defense.
They want aggressive war. that is the purpose of all the neo-
conservative think tanks all over the web. As I'm typing Senator John
McCain is speaking live in New Hampshire. He said he doesn't believe
he was born to be the President of the United States. That's a man. it
may not be the winning argument however. I remember Pat Buchanan a few
years ago. Pat was running for the Presidency, and he was the only one
of the candidates back then that actually discussed the issues that
were confronting the American people. Then the people controlling the
media shut Pat out of an important debate at Harvard, and without Pat
Buchannon present, the whole nation watched the boot-licking spectacle
that ensued. McCain is no bootlicker. No man stands so tall as when he
stands all alone. That's McCain tonight. Whether or not he wins the
election, God blesses a good military man: John McCain United States
Senator from Arizona in New Hampshire tonight informing the nation of
his position o
n Iraq.
One last remark. The purpose of a military is defense.
not engaging in aggressive war un-provoked. Vietnam and Iraq.
