La Croix Rouge

Sir, Madam,

You are unclear and lacking detail as to the charities
for which you are soliciting donations. I would be
more inclined to donate to organizations like the
Red Cross if they were not irrationally discriminating
against gay men by refusing their blood, using a
double standard that has nothing to do with responsible
sexual behavior, accepting heterosexuals whose
behavior is far riskier. They would reject a gay man
who has had only protected sex in monagamous
relationship with a healthy partner, while would not
care about a heterosexual who regularly patronizes
prostitutes. This is not health protection- it is
an endorsement of hate and irrationality.

To be like Nazis humiliating the Jews, they need
more for blood to be shed, than donated.

As with the Nazis, the petty humiliations cover
much deeper and bloodier secrets- the luring of
masses of gay men by the New York Blood Center
in the 1970s, where they were injected with HIV,
and starting an epidemic that already killed a quarter
of a million Americans, and millions more around
the world. An act of United States madmen, in
a decadent, mobster-ridden country, fit enough
for its own nuclear destruction. This atrocity
was covered up with a propaganda machine that would
have been the envy of Goebels.

Let there be Enlightenment, or let there be a
Renaissance of revolutionary fervor. Let the blood
flow up to the ankles of the people, like a levee
breaking in New Orleans. Let them wonder,
how their world was transformed, so suddenly,
so completely. Let the rivers run red.

Tom Keske
