look at the proposed design. Some have said it looks like falling destroyed
Jewish Stars and Crosses. While others contend it looks like the destroyed

I looked at the pictures. Here are my impressions:
1 - The design is very modern. I usually like modern, but not this one.
2 - If I strain to see anything, I see stars of David, not falling destroyed ones, but upright ones right in the building. (Why would they want that in their design rather than crescents?)
3 - I see no crosses.
4 - It sticks out in architecture from the surrounding buildings. Frankly, I think the surrounding buildings are ugly and should be replaced and as much as I don't like this design, it is far better than the surroundings.
5 - I don't see anything reminiscent of the twin towers. What I see looks more like a skeleton than a building.

Summary: much ado about nothing.
