Are you seriously saying that the French government should enact a law
to make it illegal to provide religious education for one's own
children who are under the age of 13? And I'm not sure what the
sentence "religious culture/awareness, jewish or otherwise, should be
promoted through kibbutz/community activities" means. It sounds like
you are advocating that France should draft laws which would control
all religions, in effect, making the practice of Judaism (or other
religions) in one's home illegal. So far, nobody in the French
parliament has suggested anything approaching such an extremist point
of view. Not even the Nuremberg laws were this restrictive. What you
are advocating is quite literally fascism. WADR, have you lost your
mind?

Yes i am suggesting that religious access to impressionable young
minds should be severely restricted yes. until a child is old enough
to make his/her own judgments about what is valid & what isnt.- Hide quoted text -

IMO whether we like it or not, young minds are going to be impressed
by something as the mind grows and develops. That mind may be
impressed by athiesm, fascism, communism, materialism, Judaism,
Catholocism, etc. but they are going to be impressed by something.
IMO parents have the right to influence their children.
