Re: An Accounting of the Soul

angels could shrink themselves down to. This debate actually impacts
the origins of calculus.

My understanding is that many worlds theory is the most popular way of
reconciling Einstein deterministic physics (in the sense that G-d
doesnt play dice) with the uncertainty principle of quantum mechanics,
most popular amongst astro physicists. given that according to that
theory the world splits asunder at every point where outcome A or B
happens, when we do choose something, we too split asunder into going
to synagogue & staying in bed, cheeseburger, bacon sandwich, bagel
etc. That may be free will 'but not as we know it Jim'...

Tossed coins can't choose which way to land. Randomness isn't free will.

Non-deterministic physics allows for other, as yet unidentified, processes
to display free will. (Those processes may be metaphysical souls, some
physics not yet known, or both.) All we are limited by is that the result
given large numbers of choices would match a particular distribution.
