Uh, you *SNIPPED* where I said I *couldn't* prove it to you since that is a mode of thinking, only that I could try to *convince* you.

And I would say the same of science. You're using biased terminology.

Without the connotations, to prove is to convince.

Either that, or you believe in the chimera of absolute proof.

If you me listening to you, and you had to place bets on the outcome of events where one was predicted my Micha's experiences and the other was predicted by the 100% identical results from 10,000 independent researchers, where would you bet.

Specifically, Micha says that in the 100's of coin tosses I have seen in my life experiences, that heads comes out 50% of the time. I say that 10,000 researchers have tossed this particular coin 300 times each and it always came out tails.

Well, I would bet the mortgage on it coming up tails with this same coin. Are they the same level of "proof"?
