didn't bother to look at it when it would say something you didn't
want to hear, because it didn't include your meaning.

You cited the very same dictionary I did, dictionary.reference.com ,
and added some insults, rudely I thought, to the person you thought
didn't' accept what it said. I"m not going to include insults, but
you can apply them to yourself if you want. If you apply them to the
other party here but not to yourself, you should ask yourself if you
have a double standard, and if by your own notion, you're a hypocrite.

benefit of others here, with only the slightest possibility that it
would benefit you. But beware, you'll just look ignorant to those
who know English pretty well or better.

It's NOT benefitting anyone. It is only feeding him and encouraging
him, and his postings already look ignorant to anyone who can read
(whether the reader speaks English pretty well, better, or even not so
well). As long as you and others continue to respond, you will
continue to be subjected to ignorant and insulting posts. The only way
for this to stop is if you stop taking the bait.

I'm not arguing about anyone's personality. I'm pointing out that
there are certain posters who come to SCJM for the purpose of
irritating other people and can ruin SCJM for everyone else, and that
if other people would stop responding to posters such as this, these
posters would go away. You don't know the history here.

Yo, Henry:I'll give you my version of happenings between Cindy and
myself.
Just after I began posting here, she began accusing me of posting all
sorts of weird things.
I asked her to reproduce those posts to prove I had actually done
them. She refused.

A bit later on, she began hassling me about my observance of Kasruth
laws.
At the time, I was still eating shellfish occasionally, a deviation
from Kasruth which I have now stopped.
I suspect she is antagonistic toward me because I'm not Orthodox.
She also inserted sarcastic comments in reply to my description of my
parents and their practice of Judaism, which I greatly resented, as
anyone would.

Cindy seems to have some sort of influence over some of the other
posters here, but I refuse to let her order me around.
This business of calling me a troll is her latest gambit. It' s simply
not true, as anyone who reads my posts can see.
