But you're not giving any "weight" to the conflicting "rights". Is
"right to _life_" of the same magnitude as "right to _convenience_"?

So you're saying pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, infection,
etc., are just "inconveniences"?

No I'm not "saying" anything. I asked a question. _You_ put (nasty)
words in my mouth.

Did I? Well, I left your original statement in so people can judge for
themselves if I mis-interpreted your remarks.

Are most abortions performed because of pre-eclampsia, gestational
diabetes, infection, etc., or for convenience?

I don't know - are we using a "most" argument? Does it matter what the
percentages are?

Women die in childbirth, Moshe, even today. Obviously the actual
risk varies based on the circumstance, and the amount of risk that
any given woman is willing to accept also varies based on the
circumstance.

True. But again I ask, are most abortions performed because of "risk"
real or percieved, or for convenience?

I know you enjoy mocking me whenever possible, but I believe my
approach is actually much closer to the halachic view than that
of Roe v. Wade.

I don't know what your "approach" is. To allow abortions because
of "risk"? Or to allow abotions because of "convenience"?

If you don't understand what I'm saying, then what's your basis for
challenging it?

My approach, as I've stated before, is that in my view you can't legally
prohibit abortions (perhaps with certain very specific exceptions, I'm not
sure) because it's always POSSIBLE that the woman's life/health is at
risk, and the only person qualified to make that determination is the
woman herself.

So I'm saying an abortion for convenience would be wrong, but should
nevertheless be legal.

Clear enough?
