PS -- I voted for Democratic candidates for president exactly five times
since 1964. They were for LBJ (because I was young and was taken in
by the scare tactics against Goldwater), Clinton (first term only
because I hated Bush Sr. for putting my son in harm's way over the price
of oil -- Gulf War I, and his "read my lips" speech of "no new taxes",
and his betrayal of Israel with the loan guarantees if they stayed out
of the war),

I don't remember this. What was the betrayal?

? twice against Bush Jr. (for excellent reasons), and now for
Obama (because I didn't want a continuation of Bush's policies and he is
inspiring -- something the country needs right now). Yes, the last
three were Democrat, but look who the Republicans put up!!!

LOL!

I am a
"not-too-strict" Libertarian because of civil liberties, and the
Democrats come closest to that position (IMO). In retrospect, I only
voted FOR one Democrat. The others were AGAINST votes.
