The moderators only allow a portion of my posts, so I just want

I have also had replies rejected. When I quoted someone's statement it
was considered offensive.
I did receive an email.
I have had the same experience.
In every case it was the same person who complained, merely because I
disagreed with his views., without
being nasty or rude.
I was flabbergasted.., however the moderators just acknowledged the
complaints and didn't threaten me with a ban.

I'm a little confused. How do you know that you had posts rejected
because someone complained about you? Also, who has proclaimed that
someone was "threatened with a ban?" On this newsgroup, the only
reason someone is "banned" is if he threatens someone's off-line
existence by contacting someone's employer or threatening someone's
life. On SCJM, posts are accepted or rejected on the basis of content,
not author.

Unfortunately after a couple of months I archived the e mails and now I
can't seem to retrieve them.
I got the distinct feeling that a certain person complained because I
objected to him calling Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, implying he is a closet
Muslim and that he 'pals around' with terrorists.
--------------
Very doubtful. Trust me on this one Shayna. This is not how SCJM
operates. If the moderators have rejected some of your posts, I can
guarantee it was not because you objected to someone else's emphasis
on Obama's middle name or took issue with the claim that Obama "pals
around with terrorists." For one thing, the moderators make their
decisions independently, and they do not reject someone's posts based
on someone else's complaint (a possible exception might be if someone
shared with the moderators that another poster had been threatening
his life via e-mail). For the second thing, many of the other posters
on this newsgroup (possibly including some of the moderators) shared
your anger that certain individuals continued to try to discredit
Obama by suggesting he was a secret Muslim. Your objection to the use
of "Barrack HUSSEIN Obama" and the claim that he "pals around with
terrorists" (sic) is extremely benign compared to many of the other
posts that appear on SCJM. Nobody would have complained about your
objection. If anything, most people would have complained about the
guy who was calling him "Barrack HUSSEIN Obama." If the moderators
reject a post, they always send an e-mail with an explanation for why
the post was rejected. If you did not receive such an e-mail (assuming
you have a legitimate e-mail address that the moderators can use), and
your post did not appear, it most likely got lost in cyberspace.
Best regards,
---Cindy S.
Cindy thanks for your explanation.
When the moderators say 'your post is being reviewed' what does that mean?
Are posts reviewed a random?
If someone is a new poster, ALL of his/her posts are automatically
sent to the human moderators for moderation. That is what the notice
you received means. It happens automatically and is nothing personal.
Once you have posted a number of times and established that your posts
are not insulting/offensive and you're not an antisemite or a troll,
you can write to the moderators and request that you be granted
automoderation. This is a privilege granted on a case-by-case basis,
but *you must request it*. If you do not, your posts will be sent for
human moderation indefinitely. If you are granted automoderation, some
of your posts will still be sent to a human moderator from time to
time. This is because if certain threads start to heat up, the
moderators can opt to moderate all posts in a particular thread. Also,
there are certain words and phrases that trigger human moderation.
Many of us are automoderated, but even the ones who are automoderated
often find their posts being sent for human moderation. Every one of
my posts in the "Islam in Ft. Lauderdale thread" has been sent for
human moderation.
Best regards,
---Cindy S.
