However, my mother deserves a lot of credit. She had me reading at
a first grade level when I was four, despite my dyslexia. I was then
always reading above grade level, which mde it an enjoyable ego massage.
So I read a lot -- which ws also practicing. All that work she invested
meant that my natural disability doesn't show as badly as it could have.
But I never got decent grades in spelling.
Don't feel bad about that. Remember: PALL MALL can't SPALL.
