Yeah. They've been "sounding the alarm" all right because they are
desperate to win the election, and they will say and do anything to do
so.

I have tried
to sound the alarm myself in other news groups, but to deaf ears.

I'm sorry to say, but the bottom line is that most Americans
(especially Gentiles) don't care about Israel.  They care most about
their own situation.

I don't think McCain will be good for Israel. As I said before, I
think he's angry and impulsive and a bit of a loose cannon. I think
his choice of Sarah Palin for his running mate clearly illustrates
this point.



Several weeks ago the Presidential race was close, but once the
American economy tanked, that was it. McCain is viewed as the
candidate of the rich and powerful. Obama is viewed as the candidate
of the poor and middle class.

McCain is seen as the guy who wants to bail out the banks. Why
shouldn't poor and middle-class Americans resent this? But I really
think McCain's campaign really started tanking when Sarah Palin was
interviewed by Charles Grodin and Katie Couric and people got to see
the incompetence of Sarah Palin up close and personal. People also
resent the smear tactics that were starting to be used at some of the
Republican rallies, especially Palin's implication that Obama was a
foreigner and not like other Americans.

Once the economy collapsed, the election was over.

I truly believe that many Americans don't care if Iran gets the
bomb . . . l as long as it can't reach the US.

I think they care. I certainly care. But I don't think a McCain win is
will doing anything to prevent Iran from making a bomb. If anything,
it will hasten it.
