Yes. I see that. I had the wrong guy.
Judaism has no notion of "sacred" vs. "secular." The qorbanoth are as
"secular" as they are "sacred" and the Mishnaic body of personal and
property injury law is as "sacred" as it is "secular."
How do the terms "kodesh" and "hol" map to these concepts, if at all?
Nounsadjectives, referring to the Temple or its objects or the non-
kodesh.
Both relate to ritual law.
Rule by Supreme Court, where the appointees and the appointment
process is carried out behind closed doors and politically biased, is
not my idea of Hebraic politics.
But a Sanhedrin is a Supreme Court, no? Then is the appointment
process the only difference?
Biblically each tribe gets to chose 6 members.
Qualifications are really different as well.
