WAMU in DC reports this morning that the Virginia Beach City Council
has not renewed permission for a group of 5 Buddhist monks who live in
Virginia Beach, Va. just east of Norfolk, who have had regular (but I
don't know how often) services at their home with other guests, which
might have totalled 12, can not continue to have their services there.
Those in favor said they were quiet and caused no harm.
I don't think they said what those against said, nor does the third
link above, but elsewhere it says traffic is the complaint.

Sig: I don't want to spend as much time on the net as I once did, or in newsgroups. In the past I responded to almost any reply to me, because I thought silence meant assent to some people. But it shouldn't.
So once I make my points, I may not reply again. Especially if no new arguments are made on the other side. Please don't take that to mean you have convinced me or anyone.
