I know a Jewish woman who owns a house that is so old
that the lease, blindly re-copied through successive sales,
still has the clause that "the owner will not sell to blacks
or Jews (WTTE)." She absolutely refuses to white it out,
because, to her, it's a mark of pride (& probably not a little
vengeance) to own such a house.
