Indeed it is. The same Joe Liberman who is a close advisor and friend to
John McCain, who travels with him and is seen at his side all the time.

Mamma mia! The same Joe Lieberman who ran for Vice-president with Al
Gore? (And they say that McCain is a conservative!)

Who
as with him in Iraq and Israel and who had to set straight -- FOUR TIMES,
ON CAMERA -- McCain's confusion about Shia vs. Sunni. McCain has repudiated
Hagee's remarks about Hitler and wants nothing more to do with Hagee.
Liberman, an Orthodox Jew, has _repudiated_ the remarks but will still
appear with Hagee on the same stage at some function.

And call him "ish Elokim", to boot. Is there more to Hagee? Why is it
in Lieberman's interest to do any of that? I wonder how well he vetted
the guy before lavishing all that praise on him back in July 2007.

As has been said of Obama (and many others, of course): Tell me who your
friends are, and I'll tell you who you are.

So who is Al Gore? :-) Lieberman and Hagee didn't meet yesterday, you
know. Plus in this case, you seem to be saying: "Tell me who your
friends' friends are, and I'll tell you who you are." A bit of a
stretch, no?

Man, what a depressing election season this is!
