Prime Minister Olmert has closed the Strategic Affairs Ministry. Olmert
says he created the ministry to stop Iran from becoming a nuclear power.
That is what Yoni Kempinski is broadcasting on Arutz Sheva. But he
doesn't
say why Olmert is closing the Ministry.
Anyone have any ideas why the Prime Minister is closing this ministry?
Could it be simply because Avigdor Lieberman has quit the coalition?
Maybe Medinot Israel has set a date for the destruction of all Iranian
nuclear facilities so we don't need the Ministry of Strategic Affairs
anymore?

The ministry may have been closed because Iran is so far along the
nuclear path that it cannot be stopped except by military means.

My sentiments exactly. The first thing I thought when I heard Yoni was that
Israel has decided to attack Iran. The good thing is that unlike in the
80's Israel should be able to attack without the backlash from the USA as
was popular before 9/11. I think the majority of the planet is not in favor
of being governed by those that espouse radical Islam.
