There are a number of standard reasons for rejection which lead to
standard messages which can be found at:

The most common ones (apart from spam which will not concern
thatposters at scjm) are offtopic and offensive.
The rejecting moderator has the option of adding an explanatory
comment to the standard message. I usually do this but sometimes I
think the submitted post is so obviously offensive or off-topic
beany comment is superfluous.
But if it is a long post with many different thoughts, it might not
obvious to the person making the post.moderator
With regard to your mention of the possibility of another
robomoderatorletting the same post through I should tell you that the
sameis programmed to send a replacement for a rejected message to the
