For the record, it's not about dissing the women but to prevent the men from
getting aroused. You may think this is silly, but it's not an anti-woman
thing.

covered up in public, perhaps photos of women's faces to the Haredi men
are something akin to photos of barely clad women to secular men.
Are Haredi men supposed to avoid looking at women's faces in general?
