The first time I lost my job, and the Mrs. was not working outside the home,
I fell into depression. The next time I lost my job, the Mrs. was, thank
God, employed.
Now that we are empty nesters, I am grateful that we both work oustide the
home. Even through my wife's illness she barely missed a few days of work,
being in the hospital mostly on weekends, a factor I believe contributed to
her recovery.
