Hi.

I'll second Cindy's nomination of Joan Nathan's "Jewish Holiday
Kitchen". Tonight, we'll be having the Persian pomegranate chicken, a
major favorite.
-------
I've made that recipe before! Another one that's really super (although I
can't remember which of the two aforementioned cookbooks it comes from) is
the "Finger Lickin' Good Kugel from such-and-such city" (maybe Chicago?)
which is a noodle kugel prepared with brown sugar and pecans on the bottom
and then flipped over for serving (sort of like a pineapple upside down
cake). It's quite unique and always a hit (albeit a bit messy). Another one
I really like is the chicken recipe with the lemon juice, raisins, and green
olives (again can't remember the name off the top of my head).Chag sameach
everyone.
Best regards,
---Cindy S.
