Friends,
The revolving door policy of the Israeli government concerning
known Palestinian terrorists, murderers and thugs continues. A Tanzim
operative let go in August under a "humanitarian" agreement between Israel
and the PLO was just found in a house with bombs and guns. Surprise! Will
this change anyone's mind? Not likely, the Cabinet continues to use any
excuse to let these potential mass murderers go free. Now its "on the
occasion of Eid al-Fitr"that's the reason.
Read and weep. The information was provided by IMRA -

IDF SPOKESPERSON UPDATE
Wanted Tanzim operative arrested after returning to militant
activity despite agreement
In a joint IDF, ISA and special Border Police force operation this
evening in the village of Qalil, south of Nablus, the force arrested a
wanted operative of the Tanzim terror organization, a Fatah offshoot.
8 pipe bombs, a rifle and a handgun were uncovered in the structure
where the operative, Fares Natzer Hassin Abu Na'eem, was hiding. The
bombs were detonated in a controlled manner by Border Police sappers.
The wanted operative, a 21 year-old resident of the village of Qalil,
was involved in bombing and shooting attacks against IDF forces. Abu
Na'eem was a party to the August 2007 agreement between the Palestinian
Authority and Israel, and had pledged to cease militant activity in exchange
for being taken off the list of wanted operatives. Recent information
received about Abu Na'eem indicated that he had returned to his militant
activity, which constitutes a severe violation of the agreement. As a result, it
was decided to arrest him.
The IDF wishes to emphasize that those who signed the August 2007
agreement are valid subjects for intelligence tracking. Moreover,
those who do not fulfill their commitments will be arrested.

The Cabinet discussed the issue of Palestinian prisoners and
decided:
On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, as a gesture of goodwill towards the head
of the Palestinian Authority, the Government has decided to recommend
the release of approximately 100 Palestinian prisoners and detainees
from Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip, in accordance with the agreed-upon
criteria, in addition to humanitarian cases stemming from special medical
circumstances.
The Ministerial Committee on the Release of Prisoners
( <http://tinyurl.com/2jph6p>http://tinyurl.com/2jph6p) will - at the
behest of the Government - deal with the release of Palestinian prisoners,
the date of which will be determined according to prevailing circumstances,
while taking into account the honoring of the Palestinians' commitments and
the criteria and guidelines set by Attorney General Meni Mazuz. The
Ministerial Committee will approve the list of prisoners to be released.
A committee chaired by Justice Ministry Director-General Moshe Shilo will
coordinate work on formulating the list of prisoners who meet the release
criteria. The committee, in which all relevant bodies participate, will
deliver its recommendations and conclusions to the Ministerial
Committee, which is authorized by the Government to approve them.

I consider myself a Religous Zionist. However, I believe that it is
important that we who
identify with what was once considered "the National Camp" in Israel
wake up and
realize what the situation is.
When Arutz 7 first came on the air around 1988, I recall one of the
rabbis who spoke
on the station saying "we and MERETZ want the same things, we just
have different
ways of getting there". They really believed this and they educated a
couple of generations
of religious youth to believe this. Unfortunately, it isn't true.
As Alexander Yakobsen wrote in Ha'aretz recently (I posted a link to
the article), the term
"Jew" is an epithet to the post-Zionist elite in Israel. THEY DO NOT
CONSIDER THEMSELVES
JEWS OR ZIONISTS. This is the reality about the ruling clique here in
Israel. I think most
of them more or less agree with Avrum Burg's anti-Zionism and anti-
Judaism (although , of
course he claims to be somewhat observant, but he is redefining
Judaism in a-historical
terms).
Obviously, since about 80% of the Jewish population of Israel consider
themselves Jews
(i.e. connected at least to some extent to Jewish history and
tradition), politicians are
not going to say outloud that they are anti-Zionist and anti-Jewish.
BUT THE REALITY
IS THAT THEY ARE. Shimon Peres and Ehud Olmert feel closer to Jibril
Rajoub and
others in the FATAH hieirarchy (sp?) than they do to us. They are the
rulers and
we (both Jews and Arabs) are the ruled. They consider themselves part
of an
internationalist, globalist elite and finding favor with them is more
important than
identifying with their own people. That is how Yossi Sarid, one week,
could write
that "his eyes are burning in their sockets reading how 30% of the
population
favors granting that vile murderer Yigal Amir parole eventually"
while one week later he writes "we should release Marwan Barghouti.
You say
'but he is a convicted murderer!' So what? There are no saints around
here".
Yossi is very upset that fellow member of the ruling clique Rabin was
killed
by Amir, but when other Jews whom are just average people and not
known
personally by Sarid are murdered, it is of no interest to him.
The time has come to realize that we are living esentially under a
foreign
government! They are simply agents carrying out the orders that come
to them from the White House. For them, protecting Jewish lives is of
secondary importance than keeping their master in Washington happy.
Obviously, if too many slaves get killed, the plantation won't be so
profitable, so they do have to carry out security operations, but for
Peres, Olmert and Abbas, sending out their minions to fight each
other is all part of the game, while they sit up at the top and laugh
at all those who believe their public statements.
I know this sounds very cynical, but a cool analysis of everything
that has happened since Oslo in 1993 shows this is no
exaggeration. We see that the ruling clique is trying to eradicate
every vestige of Jewish or Zionist identity the state has. The
craven capitulation of the JNF and its agreement to sell land
that Jewish over generations purchased by donations of their
hard earned money is simply the latest manifestion of the war
the regime is carrying out against the Jewish majority of the
country.
I am truly sorry it has come to this.
