whichInteresting, thoughtful article. Too bad it's a rightwing site
makes
it of limited persuasive use.
criticisesDan, if you've got a left-wing site which refutes or otherwise
left,W&M, please post it. I've not found anything significant from the
which makes me feel rather lonely out here.
dismissedI'd rather find an analysis from a source that can't be summarily
from any side.
THat would be great. Unfortunately, I'm not finding any credible
rebuttal or condemnation from the left, and as we've discussed
elsewhere silence can be as instructive as words. Sure, it would be
great to find something upon which everyone can agree, but how many
news/commentary sources are so unimpeachable?

This is from the History Network blog. I found it via Martin Kramer's
webpage. It takes a different approach from anything I've see so far,
either pro or con. -- Q
Good one.
....But I thought blogs weren't credible sources - at least that's what
Q says...
Blogs aren't credible sources as to fact.
If you're talking about *opinion* -- which is what a book review is --
a blogger's opinion is as good as anyone else's.
I think most people will agree that the best thing is to read as
widely as possible.
I thought this person had an interesting take on M&W -- certainly one
worth discussing with people who might be able to bring more
information to the table. -- Q
