You bring up an interesting point. To finish the job against
terrorism, the present conflict has to be extended into Iran.
The alternative would be to support elements within Iran which
are able to effect a regime change before the mullahs can develop
nuclear weaponry. The latter alternative may be more difficult
as Iran is not only a theocracy, but also a secret police state.
However, I see no candidate preparing public opinion for the
possibility that Iran may have to be dealt with militarily,
although many people know about the concentration of US, UK and
French navies in the Persian Gulf.



To START to fight terrorism, we have to get out of Iraq. Our invasion had
nothing whatsoever to do with fighting terrorism and it is been entirely
counterproductive, strengthening the terrorists, leading to the unnecessary
deaths of Americans (and Iraqi civilians), and isolating America around the
world.

I actually agree with something you've said. How's that for an historical announcment.

Might have been nice had you mentioned the reason the US is fighting in Iraq is entirely due to pressure brought by Israel.
