As I said, it is okay to TEACH about Islam, but not to PREACH.
Islam itself does not make such a distinction, Da'awa is the process of
propagating Islam through education, it presents itself as a cross between
teaching and preaching; the Islamic equivalent of Christian evangelism.

Few, if any, religions make that distinction. This is
why the teacher must not believe in observing the
religion in question.
The same holds in Orthodox Judaism. This is why I
believe that one should not be taught religion until
there is already understanding of the problems of
rights and obligations.
