There is a prohibition against making the Torah a spade to plow with.
IOW, one isn't supposed to use Torah to make money. Maimondes' take on
this prohibition is among the more stringent. Others permit loopholes
like paying the person for the time they didn't spend at a profession.
Maimonides waxes potetically at length about how making a profession
out of the Torah belittles Torah.
So, "rambam.BIZ" is pretty funny, if you think about it...
I have thought about it. But I don't understand your point. If making
a business out of Torah belittles Torah, and in fact Maimonides is far
stronger about it than that, then why do you find it to be funny?
Serious would be a more appropriate reaction. Or even sad. Not funny.
