His being Jewish will go down well in Israel, but his willingness to
criticise will (hopefully) mean he can be taken seriously by other
parties too.

And thank God, his criticism will be taken seriously by the rest of the
world.

And when has the world ever NOT taken criticism of Israel seriously?
When they are taking it *very* seriously?
