Does anyone know if there are still Israeli Jewish Government Offices in1) I don't know anything about Misrad HaPnim offices in Tel Aviv
Migdol Shalom Meir at 911 Ehad/Haam Street in Tel-Aviv, Israel?
Years back there was a Misrad Panim there on the 14th Floor and also and
Office of the Mossad.
The reason I'm asking is I need to contact the misrad panim and see if
our family name is still in their computers or when returning to Eretz
Israel if our name is not in the computers we plan and immigrating all
over again and again become Olim Hadashim.
I've searched the web for a few phone numbers and before I contact the
local Sholiach here we'd like to do as much footwork as possible before
we returning home. If anyone has any phone numbers where I can actually
contact Hebrew speaking Israelis that are on Israel whose job it is to
assist in Aliyah I would very much appreciate I if you would post them
here.
Years back there was a klitah office right at Ben Gurion. Does anyone
know if the office still exists?
Also does anyone have Jonathon Pollard's address where he can receive
mail? I had it years back during the first year of his incarceration but
no longer have it. In fact I mailed him a siddur and a Mezzuzah but
never received a reply so I don't know if he received them or not.
May the Blessing of Hashem be upon all Jews to exist in well being and
good health happy from doing the Mitzvoth of our Torah.

The reason I'm asking about the Tel-Aviv office at Binyan Migdol Shalom Meir
is because we gave one of several clerks there copies of our family's birth
certificates. So if they still have a record of us there should be no
problem. If I could just get a phone number where I could call. It use to
be that here in the USA we could call directory assistance for Tel-Aviv and
operator would help us but trying to get directory assistance is like
starting a telecommunications company from scratch, there is no directory
assistance for Israel. Please some one prove me wrong here. That's a bit
scary too.
2) Depending upon when you were Israeli citizens (which I gather is what
you're saying you are/were), they may have your names in their computers,
so you would have to come as Toshavim Chozrim (or one Toshav/Toshevet
Chozer/et), rather than as Olim Hadashim.
The more I read the more I know I'm going to need to talk soon with our
local Sholiach.
3) As of 28 SEP 05, there was a Misrad HaKlitah at NaTBaG (Ben Gurion
Airport).
I suppose the best thing to do is ask when we get there.
4) Nefesh B'Nefesh would be one good group to contact. AACI (Assn. of
Americans and Canadians in Israel) would be another.
I started reading the Nefesh B'Nefesh website but became side tracted.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
