Ma Nishtana HaLashon HaZeh. Differences Between Israeli and Biblical Hebrew?

Leafing through the Feb. 20007 issues of "Jewish Image" which was in
the lobby of Keheilat Ahavat Kesef, I came across an article called
"Development of Modern Hebrew". About how Ben Yehuda invented the
language spoken today in Israel.
It makes a lot of general statements, about how Abazit (Ivrit bat
zmanenu, Hebrew the daughter of our time) has European, Arabic, and
other origins, but it gives no specific examples I could find.
I'm sure this has been discussed here before, but I missed it, so I
wonder if our Hebrew maivens want to give specific examples how
Israeli differs from Tanach and Talmudic Hebrew?
I'll start.
I've learned that to ask a question in modern Hebrew, you start the
sentence with "Ha'eem". In biblical, you can just add a "ha" to the
beginning. As in "Ha'shomer achee anochee?". No "ha'eem" necessary.
I think the objective particle "et" is also used differently in
modern, like it's used less? What else? Any good books on this? Simcha
