Yes, it's really easy to confuse the two, with all the troublemakers
who have been allowed to come to SCJM and ask questions. They might
even be able to voice an opinion provided they don't mind if some
morally superior person retaliates by raking up their entire posting
history, and misrepresenting it to the group.

Funnily enough, when I started posting here a certain contributor fired
up DejaGoogle and announced that her research had revealed that I had a
long history of obsessively posting stuff to Usenet about circumcision.
This was supposed to reveal my morally degenrate character.

I pointed out that in fact that I had previously posted about it once,
about twelve years ago, in the context of debunking old wives' tales
about circumcision.

The person who did this wasn't honest enough to come up with an apology.
I don't think much has changed.
