If one listens to the speeches of the current Iranian president, he lays most of
it out. Islam believes that at the end of the world as we know it (End of Days)
that all Muslims will be required to engage the rest of the world in a Holy War.
Because of that war, the 12th Imam will come. Along with him, there will be an
evil Imam. The evil Christians will side with the evil Imam, the good Christians
will fight with the 12th Imam and Muslims. Jesus will come back to fight with
the 12th Imam. In the end the evil Christians are defeated and sent to hell to
replace all Muslims in hell. At that point all Jews are killed. And the world
is ruled by a Persian who is the supreme Muslim leader.

It is this "hope" that is driving the radical Muslims. What else would cause a
woman to kill herself and her babies except something of this magnitude?

Also are the writings of some Egyptian who pushed the concept of Islamic purity.
