You had it -- in 1930s Germany. How'd that work out?

This is why I feel like I am talking to troglodytes.
You speak as if America and Nazi Germany had an equivalent
"secularaism." Did any Reichmarks ever say "In God We Trust"?
I think that is decidedly naive. I think you should read "The Origin of
Republican Form of Government" by Oscar Strauss (first Jewish US
cabinet member) and see what role Tora and the "Old Testament" played
in America.
