Consevative Rabbi supports IDF moral code

One would think there was nothing extraordinary about this. A Conservative
rabbi in Ohio, planning on making aliyah with his family, writes a piece for
the Jerusalem Post praising the IDF and it's willing to take risks to avoid
needless civilian casualties.

For some, though, it's a call to arms. Skim through the comments -- only a
few will do. The rabbi is attacked for being Conservative, for being
"Christian," for being a pacifist, for wanting Israel to surrender...

And this is is for *defending* Israel and its actions. Is this sort of
vitriol really necessary? Have we forgotten why the Second Temple came
down?
