There's no labor abuse in Postville either. That was another fabrication.
And not even PETA was claiming that there were "kashrus violations."

Excuse me, but my understanding was that even the OU said there were
"irregularities" and the management made some process changes. Whether
the irregularities amount to "violations", I suppose, is a judgement
call depending on whether one considers it a violation if the letter of
the schechita rules are followed but the animal still suffers
unnecessarily. YMMV.

The other allegations are absolute PETA fabrications.


As for the labor abuse question - well, you're not there and neither am
I, but in the absence of first-hand knowledge I do trust the Forward to
not be a PETA front publication.

No, but when they print a PETA press release as a sotry of their own there is a real
problem.
