Remember - YOU STARTED THIS THREAD. So quit your complaining.

Go ferdrei your own kopf. I'm done with you (again!)

Cindy, what news reader do you use? We seriously need to figure out how
you can plonk people so this kind of exchange won't happen again.

Tim - once again, she started this thread. This "exchange" wouldn't have
happened if she hadn't posted a new topic. Unless by "exchange" you mean
Cindy saying whatever she wants and me being silenced, of course, which is
I'm sure what she wants. Nice, Tim, thanks.

Actually, I meant the entire nasty exchange that followed, which started
about 3 posts deep in the thread. You're also not being silenced; the
rest of us can see your posts. We'd all just be spared the never ending
back and forth where you insist she concede your point when everyone else
can see she's not going to. It's tiresome. (Note I'm not saying your
point is always wrong, I'm trying to be neutral in this reply; what's
tiresome is when every post in a thread turns into a back-and-forth "admit
I'm right!" "no!" "admit it!" "no!" "grr, admit it!" "no!" between you
two.) One of you should seriously killfile the other and be done with it.
(As long as you don't do the kind of killfiling done elsewhere in the
group where you killfile, but then comment on every post by that person
anyway, which is more annoying.)

Just imagine the benefits. If she killfiled you, you'd have had the last
word and we'd have all seen what a nasty lady she is to try to trick us
like that. If you killfiled her, we'd have had a one-post thread that
everyone would have seen and shrugged off, then gone on our merry ways and
forgotten about by lunchtime. Instead, we have another shoutfest that
a troll has crossposted into both scj and alt.messianic all happy that
Cindy's been "caught." Congrats, you're on the same side as a troll. :-\

The point of my post was to urge Cindy to take action, as a number of
times in the past she's said she's "done with you," but then can't help
but replying again shortly after. If she's serious about it, there are
ways we can help.

And, don't forget, my original point that she took the trouble to call out
for everyone in this thread IS TRUE. She *does* post on s.c.j. Further,
even worse, she posts frequently on alt.messianic. She claimed in this
post that "I do not read SCJ unmoderated and I do not post there and have
not done so for as long as I can remember," which is incorrect, and then
later attributes posts on s.c.j. to "someone ... crossposting my remarks"
which is also flat-out incorrect. It's clear from the posts that she's
well aware that these threads are cross-posted and appearing in s.c.j. So,
she's mis-stating the facts here. Is it important? Not really - but she's
the one going to the trouble to start a whole new topic just to say what I
wrote was "projection and untruth," when in fact it's the opposite.

Is she entitled to post there? Sure. But I'm entitled to point out the
problem with doing so, too. Posting on s.c.j. is an action - I'm entitled
to comment on people's actions, that's not any sort of personal attack.

It is when your comments are worded as attacks.

"Clearly you get some weird kick out of interacting with them..."
"If anyone's trolling for dreck, it's Cindy and Susan...."

You probably don't see these as attacks, but I'm sure I'm not the only
one reading who would disagree with you.

My personal (unasked-for) opinion? Yes, it was a mistake to start
this thread. Her statements seem to be inaccurate, while yours seem to be
accurate (how's that for wishy-washy?). If the trolls come here because
of her other activities, then that's why we have moderators, and for the
most part they're doing a darned good job at keeping them out (especially
when we have Josh to help point them out). But from her activity on
alt.messianic (a non-Christian newsgroup), we have one troll who annoys
us once in a while, versus multiple Jews she's turned back from the
sway of Christianity. So, thank you Cindy for posting there, even if
it resulted in one bad consequence (well, two, counting this thread).

Tim
